Lionel Richie made his feelings about his 19-year-old daughter Sofia Richie’s relationship with Scott Disick pretty clear when he broke his silence on the matter back in October last year.
Speaking to US Weekly, he revealed: "I’m scared to death, are you kidding me?
"Have I been in shock?! I’m the dad, come on."

And now he’s seemingly thrown more shade the couples’ way, explaining he believes the romance is “just a phase” on Sofia’s part and that she’s dating 34-year-old Scott to get back at her dad.
"I know what my parents meant when I came through the door with my Afro and my girlfriend and said, 'Dad, I'm in love' and [he] looked at me and said 'Okay, we're going to leave you alone for a minute and you'll figure it out,' " Lionel told The Telegraph.
He added: "When you're 19, you know everything. Is it going to be for life? I don't know. But for right now, it's just a phase and I'm going to stand real still in the corner, get me a good drink and not make too much noise."
Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner recently spoke out on Scott and Sofia’s relationship, too.
And Kim’s outlook on the whole situation was surprisingly understanding.
“Whatever makes him happy - I don't judge, I don't care,” she explained in an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
“I think it's a good thing. I just hope that he's making good choices and having fun and that nothing is getting crazy.”
Reflecting on his time in New York with Kris, Kim added: “Scott has been so good in New York. I mean, it's not like we can keep tabs on him forever. He's got to live his life. Kourtney's moved on, Scott's eventually going to move on. If it ends up turning into something, great.”
Earlier in the episode Scott revealed his conflicting emotions about sharing detail of his personal life with Kris.
