Ant McPartlin’s wife Lisa Armstrong takes aim by liking telling fan tweets

Ant McPartlin and Lisa Armstrong have been living separately for months and recently confirmed they were set to divorce.

But while the former couple have tried to keep the devastating news under wraps, it became clear that Lisa was finding their separation tough this week when she liked a series of telling tweets.

The make-up artist liked one tweet that read, "Your unconditional love and support made A who he is.. easy to think you don't want UNTIL you don't have.. Never Be Another You" and another that said, "Hope you're ok @lisaAmakeup. I've gone through 2 divorces and the grass isn't greener like they believe".

Amid rumours of a romance between Ant and I'm A Celeb star Scarlett Moffatt, Lisa liked another fan's tweet that read, "after 2 years coming off prescribed pain meds my hubby took the back lash, the moaning, the mood swings, the crap but 18yrs of marriage, loyalty and LOVE& were still together, I think Ant is hiding something or someone so sorry huni".

A source told The Sun, “Lisa has always kept a dignified silence, but the cracks are now starting to show.

"She’s been using social media very subtly to reveal how she really feels — and the truth is beginning to creep out.

“She had been determined to carry on as normal but now feels totally cut out from her friendship circle.

"They’ve shared the same friends for years but it’s become obvious who they’re all siding with — especially Dec and his wife.

"Now she feels totally alone and is infuriated by the way everyone appears to have closed ranks. She’s fed up and dejected.”

The estranged couple have been together for 23 years, but started living separately in June after the Britain's Got Talent presenter entered rehab for addiction.

When Ant left rehab in August, he began renting a nearby property apart from Lisa.
