It turned out to be a Christmas Day to remember for EastEnders actress Lisa Faulkner when her partner, MasterChef's John Torode, proposed to her!
Announcing the couple's happy news on social media, Lisa shared a cute photo of the pair and wrote, 'My gorgeous John completely surprised me on Christmas Day and asked me to marry him! After waiting to tell our family when we got home we then had a few days just grinning at each other!! Im so very happy to share our lovely news with you. John, who presents hit show MasterChef alongside Greg Wallace, later shared a photo of Lisa standing next to a swimming pool. He wrote, 'And she said YES !! Bloody love my Lisa .. Have put a ring on it 💍🕺🏼'. [sic]

John and Lisa first met way back in 2010 when Lisa appeared and later went on to win the Celebrity version of MasterChef.
When Lisa divorced her ex-husband Chris Coghill in 2012, and John split from his ex-wife Jessica, the pair started in dating in 2012.
