Ant McPartlin's estranged wife Lisa Armstrong has hinted that there may be more to the couple's split than meets the eye, after 'liking' a fans post on Twitter.
Addressing Lisa in a tweet, one follower wrote: " @lisaAmakeup after 2 years coming off prescribed pain meds my hubby took the back lash, the moaning, the mood swings, the full crap but 18yrs of marriage,loyalty and LOVE& were still together,I think Ant is hiding something or someone so sorry huni [sic].’
And seemingly showing she was in agreement, Lisa 'liked' the post.
This comes after fans have been speculating there may be something going on between Ant and his Saturday Night Takeaway co-star Scarlett Moffat.
After spotting them on camera together, several fans took to Twitter to comment on the ‘chemistry’ between the pair, sparking rumours of a romance.
One viewer wrote: "Here's a suggestion. Ant Mcpartlin and Scarlett Moffat should get together. What a beautiful couple.”
Another commented: “Watch this space..... Ant and Scarlett @ScarlettMoffatt #couple #Ithinkso”
Ant's reps have dismissed these claims, slamming the rumours as 'total bullsh*t', according to Metro.
Ant confirmed he was filing for divorce after 11 years of marriage in a statement earlier this year.
It read: "In response to the recent speculation in the media, Ant is very sad to announce that, after 11 years, he is ending his marriage to Lisa McPartlin.
“Ant asks for privacy at this difficult time, for both himself, Lisa and their immediate families.
"No further statements will be made."
