Well not for Phoebe Buffay.
According to Lisa Kudrow, who played the eccentric blonde in arguably the best comedy of all time, Friends, she envisages a somewhat conservative future for the Smelly Cat singer. We were hoping she’d still be singing her ‘shoulda would couldas’ in the café.
Speaking on Good Morning America, the 51-year-old said: “I think she’d be a really competitive soccer mom. Just get into it. Mike’s (Phoebe’s hubby) the real thing, and once you have kids you’re like, ‘Oh my God, I have to do right by them.’ She became me.”
The actress is currently appearing in American sitcom The Comeback and hinted to the host of Good Morning America that they’ll be a* Friends* reference in one of the episodes. Please make it ‘Pivot!’
And if Lisa Kudrow’s new show is anything like Friends then it’ll be one of those programmes you can just watch over and over again and still LOL.
