Ohh, this is a bit old school vs new school, isn't it?

We feel like the hippie era has just met up with the electro era. Then all of a sudden a bit of a dubstep is thrown into the mix.

Yes, we're talking about Sarah Harding's first ever solo song. The former Girls Aloud member has debuted *Threads *and is the first video to be uploaded to her VEVO account on YouTube earlier today.

The song's chorus says: "When the thread's about to break, you got to let go/You gotta let your body shake, you got to let go."

And although we sadly don't really care for the lyrics, the beat we are keen on.

Her other ex-bandmates Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, Nadine Coyle, Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh, have also previously made solo music efforts. Some better than others. We'll see how Sarah's matches up.

Aside from the music world, since leaving Girls Aloud, Sarah joined the acting world.

The singer plays Jodi Preston - the second wife of Tracy Barlow's ex-husband Robert Preston, in soap Coronation Street.
