Even with people pissing on their parade claiming their outfits are too 'provocative,' Little Mix are properly-positive role models when it comes to body image. It only takes one listen of We Are Who We Are and we're sassing down the street thinking we're bloody Kendall Jenner. And now - after first opening up about her anorexia battle in their book Our World - Jade Thirlwall's explained why it's so important to speak up about such issues.

Jade reckons if she'd had somebody in the public eye to 'look up to' and take away the stigma of eating disorders she might've been able to come to terms with her problem and YAAAAS, pet. Couldn't agree more.

Speaking to E! News as the Little Mix girls promote Glory Days over in the U-S-of-A, Jade explained: "Maybe when I was younger if I'd had somebody else speak up about it or had someone else to look up to it might have helped me, so that was my main reason for [discussing] it."

In Our World Jade revealed she struggled with anorexia as a teen, saying: "Anorexia is a self-destructive thing and you become stubborn, so when people are trying to tell you something you get it into your head that they're against you and you're not going to listen."

Explaining that going to hospital made her realise her eating disorder 'wasn't a game,' Jade added: "They sat me down in the clinic and were quite tough at first, spelling it out, "You're destroying your body and if you keep doing this you will die."

Can we have more celeb-types stamping out the stigma now, please? TA.
