Fans show support for Little Mix’s Jade Thirlwall after family tragedy

Our thoughts are with Little Mix's Jade Thirlwall after her band mates revealed at Hits Radio Live that she suffered a family bereavement. Jade Thirlwall has been sharing a number of heartfelt posts on social media including a black and white photo of her dog with the words, 'Digging a hole to hide from all my problems' written across it.

Little Mix's fans have also been posting messages on Twitter sending their best wishes to the pop star with one saying, 'Hi jade hope your feeling okay bub love you' [sic], and another wrote, 'Sending my love and best wishes to Jade and her family @LittleMix lots of love. All Mixers are with you ❤'.

Last week, Jade broke down during a performance, later telling her fans that she needed "tissues for her issues".

Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jesy Nelson joined us at Hits Radio Live and revealed that Jade had sadly had a bereavement and couldn’t make the show. However the girls pulled together and put on an amazing performance of 'Touch', 'Only You', Shout Out To My Ex' and 'Woman Like Me' and also talked to us about girl power and what makes their group strong.

We're gutted Jade couldn't be there, but family comes first and our thoughts are with her and her family.

Speaking backstage at Hits Radio Live the Little Mix girls revealed the secret to their success telling Sarah-Jane Crawford it was down to their "friendship" with Leigh-Anne adding, "Also the fact we all want the same thing, and good songs! There's not one person who's trying to be the stand-out."
