Little Mix singer Leigh-Anne Pinnock has spoken out and thanked staff at a Waitrose store in Sunningdale, after she was "verbally abused" by a male customer during a random altercation which left her "shocked" and "taken back".
Recalling the moment, Leigh-Anne, who recently announced her engagement to footballer Andre Gray, took to Little Mix's official Twitter account, where she thanked supermarket staff for running to her defence and showing "great kindness and care".
She wrote, "So yesterday I was involved in an altercation where I was verbally abused by a random male customer for no reason. I was left in shock and completely taken back that someone could be so rude to someone for no reason."
She continued, "Despite this ordeal the staff at Waitrose Sunningdale ran to my defence showing great kindness and care. They demonstrated that every act of wrongfulness unleashes a million acts of kindness and sent me home with these beautiful flowers.
"I was blubbering mess by the time I left the shop but I just wanted to say thank you."

Little Mix fans were quick to comment on the post, sending their love to the Shout Out To My Ex singer.
One worried fan wrote, "Leigh that’s awful, I’m so sorry that happened WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH," with another adding, "I’m so sorry you had to deal with that. We love you Leigh."
Another then added, "Thats so awful Leigh :( hope you’re ok. and how lovely of the staff xx."
At the time of publication, Waitrose are yet to comment on the altercation.

In other Little Mix news, Leigh-Anne's bandmate Jade Thirwall has gone public with Rizzle Kicks star Jordan Stephens after they were spotted looking cosy at a Black Trans Lives Matter march in London.
Jordan also fuelled rumours by rocking a hoodie from Jade’s frankly iconic Skinnydip collection on social media.
The pair were first linked in May when reports claimed they’d been messaging each other in lockdown before meeting up for a socially distanced date.
At the time, a source told The Sun, “Jade has been open to dating for a while now but it can be hard to find the time to meet people usually.
