Girl-power advocates and all round talented ladies Little Mix have revealed some secrets about their brand new record, “Get Weird”, which will be released in November.

Apparently the girls “didn't hold back at all” for their third studio album, with Perrie Edwards divulging that they 'just went for it'. Which sounds pretty exciting.

Asked how their hit single “Black Magic” compares to the rest of the upcoming album, Perrie added:

“It's a very good introduction to what the album is. The album is so pop, so colourful, very personality-driven. I think 'Salute' was quite dark and a bit R&B whereas this is just full on pop excitement, like, we just absolutely love this album.”

And why have they decided to name the album “Get Weird”? Because the girls are such bloody eccentrics of course! Jesy Nelson, who is engaged to Rixton's Jake Roche, joked about the name choice:

“We're absolutely nuts ourselves and so are our fans and we want to spread that across the world.”

Leigh-Anne Pinnock gave a slightly more sensible reason, saying that the record is “just about literally being who you are, being yourself and loving who you are as well and not being afraid to show that.”

So they've held nothing back, hey? Excuse us whilst we try to do some maths and work out how much of this album was recorded AFTER Zayn and Perrie ended their relationship. We can't wait for some musical dirt on THAT break up...
