Jesy Nelson misses Little Mix’s Text Santa performance – but why?

A host of famous faces turned out last night to get festive and raise funds for charity for Text Santa.

But one star was noticeably missing – Jesy Nelson wasn’t there for Little Mix’s live performance.

Jesy’s bandmates Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock took to the stage to sing their single Love Me Like You as a trio.

However, former X Factor contestant Jesy, who appeared with her bandmates on last week’s final of the show, was unable to perform because of a family issue, according to the MailOnline.

However, she was seen earlier in the day when the group took part in a Christmas promotional event in London.

This isn’t the first time Jesy has been unable to sing with the rest of the band – in November she was forced to take time off during their Japanese tour due to an ear infection.

At the time, she tweeted: “Hey guys unfortunately I have a b**ody horrid ear infection that is not allowing me to fly and see you beautiful Japanese mixers.

“I am so gutted that I’m not gonna be able to come over and see you guys again. I love you all very much & I can’t wait to see you again.”
