Looks like One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson isn’t a fan of The Voice, then…

Louis Tomlinson owes a lot to The X Factor – that’s where One Direction were put together, after all.

And it seems he’s a loyal fan of the show – especially in comparison to its rival, The Voice.

The Voice is back on telly this weekend (hands up who’ll be watching? Oh…) and Louis has been busy mouthing off about the show on Twitter – by comparing its fight against X Factor to one between rival football teams.

We imagine that Louis is referring to Voice coach Rita Ora’s comments that she chose to appear on The Voice over X Factor because it guarantees “respect” for the stars it creates.

Or “stars”, seeing as we’ve yet to see much come from any Voice finalist. Sorry, but it’s true…

Now, to put Louis’ comments in more context, we’ve had a quick Google of Accrington Stanley, the team Louis has compared* The Voice* to (this really is the closest we’ll ever get to putting football on stats on heatworld, so enjoy).

The club has a capacity of 5,057 seats and is in League Two (which is the fourth football division). Meanwhile, Real Madrid has an 81,044 capacity ground – and win, like, everything. Technical, aren't we?

We think we get Louis’ analogy now, though a ketchup bottle and some salt shakers might have helped.

Basically, he thinks The Voice is rubbish. Eek.
