Jamelia is going to be in hot water after her comments about plus size women.
She said on Loose Women that larger sizes SHOULDN’T be available in high street stores, and presumably felt half the audience wince as she did.
"I think everyone should have access to lovely clothes, but I do not think it's right to facilitate people living an unhealthy lifestyle,” Jamelia said.
"I don't believe stores should stock clothes below or above a certain weight. They should be made to feel uncomfortable when they go in and can't find a size.
"It shouldn't be normalised in high street stores. They should have specialist shops."
Yes, this is leggy, willowy Jamelia speaking. Something tells us she might be best qualified to talk about plus size clothes, but hey.
“Can't believe i was literally thinking about a jamelia song yday she's let me down so bad today,” wrote one Twitter user.
“I'd rather be big than be shallow like Jamelia, Lets hope she never gets big in her life, & if she does stick her in a bin bag! #loosewomen,” wrote another.
Loose Women has been home to all sorts of controversy to date. Honestly, some of it should be post-watershed. Like the way the ladies salivate over certain male guests (ahem, Enrique Iglesias, ahem).
Then there were Judy Finnigan’s comments that convicted rapist footballer Ched Evans should be given a second chance because his attack was “not violent”.
Over to you, Jamelia…
