If there’s one thing the social media era’s taught us, it’s that fandoms know their shit. You can pretty much always trust Directioners to know what each of the 1D boys are up to at any given time – so their latest theory that Louis Tomlinson is on holiday with his ex, Eleanor Calder, has got us kinda convinced.
Here’s what went down.
Louis’ younger sister Phoebe told her Instagram followers Louis was in Jamaica on February 24, but then the next day a fan posted a pic with Louis at an airport and claimed his “girlfriend” was there with him.
She wrote: “I was on my way home to DK when my little sister @mythreeboys came running to me and said that @louist91 was standing over there.
“I hope you got you flight and you and your girlfriend have a wonderful time together.”
Louis fuelled speculation that the “girlfriend” could be Eleanor, as he reportedly sent three Twitter DMs to one of her fan accounts.
These were supposedly an eye emoji, a “Shhh” and a sunglasses emoji.
The fan account said: “He tweeted this at 3:51 and 6 minutes later DM-ed us.
“WTF is happening Was he trying to say something to us or?”
This comes after Louis posted a tweet simply reading “Always”, to which fans responded things like: “Does this mean Eleanor is happening again?” and “My babies are in Jamaica right now probably snuggling together.”
A source recently told The Sun: “Louis has had a rough ride the past few months and Eleanor wants him to know she is there if he needs anybody to talk to.
“They were together for a number of years and Louis feels he can rely on her.”
