He's one of the biggest pop stars in the world, but former One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson has shown he has a massive heart by making an incredibly kind donation to a young fan suffering with cerebral palsy.
Nine-year-old Rylee Sanford, who is a huge fan of Louis and the rest of the One Direction boys, is suffering from a rare brain malformation, bilateral close-lipped schizencephaly, which causes cerebral palsy.
Schizencephaly is a very rare brain malformation which means the nine-year-old's brain has two clefts on it. Her parents have explained that when she was born doctors said she would never be able to smile, but Rylee is proving them wrong.
After Rylee's parents set up a funding page on You Caring, donations started to flood in, including a very generous one of $10,000 (£7214.50) from Louis himself.
Writing the words, 'Sending you all the love! Louis x', the 'Just Hold On' singer left his donation on the site.
Rylee's parents have set up the funding page to try and raise a target of $15,000 needed for medical care and accessibility adaptations at their home in America.
On the page, Rylee's mum wrote, 'We, as her family, want to help her reach her full potential and get her all the help she needs.
'In her medical stroller she has no way of freedom as she has to rely on us. To help her reach her full ability, we need house modifications to make our home accessible and funding for certain medical needs.'
Louis isn't the only celebrity to show his support for Rylee, Louis' former One Direction band mate Zayn Malik has also acknowledged her illness, urging people to donate to her cause.
Tweeting a photo of Rylee and a link to the funding page, Zayn wrote, 'Donate if you can 🙏🏽 Big love to you Rylee ! http://zayn.at/rylee ' [sic]
