The radio presenter went to meet Louis to talk about One Direction’s brand new single, Perfect, and admitted that he hadn’t actually listened to it yet.
That didn’t go down all too well with Lou, who said: “You should have, you should have before I speak to you, you little shit.”
He even put his hand on the journo’s shoulder to make his point, which Stephen told him off for.
“Don’t touch me – don’t touch me,” he warned Louis, before the singer jokingly called for security.
Luckily it was all a big funny gag rather than the awkward exchange it first seems to be, and Stephen has even tweeted in Louis’ defence since the clip emerged online.
Stephen also told his followers there was “nothing awkward about it”, adding that Louis “was a nice guy and we were having a bit of banter”.
