Louis Tomlinson has been teasing his new single "Back To You" with Bebe Rexha for the past couple of days. However, he just revealed what the song is about and we can't but wonder if it has something to do with his current girlfriend, Eleanor Calder. These two started dating in November of 2011 and officially called it quits in 2015.
They have a whole lot of history, that's for sure.
After they broke up, it seemed like things were never going to be the way they used to between these two. Louis was about to become a father to a baby he was expecting with Briana Jungwirth and Eleanor had kind of slipped out of the spotlight. Louis then started dating Danielle Campbell and Eleanor was still nowhere in sight. It's only recently that they came back to each other.
And yes, if you didn't already guess, "Back To You" is about someone you keep coming back to. AKA, Eleanor. We're mind blown just as much as you are.

It’s about that one person that no matter how hard you try, you keep coming back to. All your support has been amazing and I can’t wait for you to hear the track."
It's love! Obviously, Louis and Eleanor have a deeper connection than we thought. But, we can't say this is the first song he's ever written about her. Directioners will remember that back in the day One Direction released a song called, "Back For You" which was apparently about their girlfriends at the time.
Who was Louis' girlfriend at the time? Yup, it was Eleanor! Not only that but we can't help but notice the very strikingly similar name between his new single, "Back To You" and 1D's song, "Back For You." Literally, only a letter or two difference and we're freaking SHOOK. This whole thing has come full circle between the music, the song name and Louis' relationship with Eleanor.
The lyrics are bound to give us more clues inside their relationship and how he really feels about her. YOU GUYS, can you believe after all of this time, through all of this time, Louis has had Eleanor in the back of his mind? Does this mean they have been talking the entire time? Who reached out to who first? SO. MANY. QUESTIONS.
And to have not one but two songs written about you by the same guy years apart definitely has Eleanor feeling like she's got a soulmate.
