When One Direction found fame after appearing on The X Factor, they sold millions of records, toured around the globe and made SO much money.
But then Zayn Malik quit the band, followed closely by a band hiatus, and we've never been the same since.
Of course, there's always hope for a reunion but it seems that may not happen any time soon, following Louis Tomlinson's latest admission about the band.
In an interview with Cosmopolitan, Louis admitted, "I think all the boys would agree with this. There's been moments in all of our lives where naturally some of us speak to others more than others.
"I wouldn't say I'm closest to any of the boys. Recently, I've probably spoken to Liam 10 times as much as I spoke to the other lads. Six months ago, that was Niall."
But will there be a reunion?

While he wasn't asked directly if the band had any plans on getting back together, Louis basically shut down any rumours of a reunion for the time being, as he said, "I've got to stand on my own two feet and say, ‘This is my identity. This is who I am as an artist.'"
We're honestly devastated.

However, fans thought new music was on the way last week, after the band's website, which has been inactive for years, had a little update, with "2020 Sony Music Entertainment" added to the home page.
Fans believed this meant new music was set to be released this year but then it was quickly pointed out that that part of the website gets updated every year.
