A source told The Sun: “Louis spent a lot of time backstage at The X Factor last year, partly so he could spend time with Simon and get to know how the industry works.”
The 23-year-old has already proven himself as having an eye for talent after championing Aussie band 5 Seconds of Summer. The singer even owns a stake in the band!
The four piece have even been nominated for a BRIT Award.
One Direction are STILL recording their fifth album (phew!) but that hasn’t stopped other members from looking into future careers outside of the band.
Harry Styles could be launching an acting career, according to a Hollywood insider.
A source told The Sun: “There’s no question he will enter the movie business. I get from him that he wants to. When you meet him, he’s super-charismatic.
“He came to our Oscars party last year and then I went out to lunch with him. I’ve met him two or three times and he was very interested and charming. I think the guy is a movie star.”
