According to The Sun, the 23-year-old’s venture is being backed by Sony and is an imprint of 1D mentor Simon Cowell.
Louis told the newspaper: "This is something I've wanted to do for some time.
"To be given the opportunity to potentially give new artists a platform is an incredible feeling.
“I hope to sign some really exciting new artists down the line."
His first artist signing is already in check; X Factor finalist Jack Walton.
During his chill-out time from 1D, Louis is also in search for a new girl band.
