After being dropped from the show last year, we’ve been eagerly waiting for the return of our favourite Irishman, Louis Walsh.
Apparently show bosses have been in talks about getting Louis back, and he’s potentially getting MEGA bucks for it.
We’re talking a possible £800,000.
According to the Mirror, nothing has been confirmed yet but a “provisional offer” has been made.
The source said: “Simon and Louis work really well together. He provides a perfect foil for Simon. They’ve had a couple of phone conversations and it’s looking as if a deal will be done, although no paperwork has yet been signed.”
We think Louis would be CRAZY not to accept this offer. Mostly for the fact we want him back in a judge’s chair this year.
It’s been reported by The Sun that Simon is in talks with ITV to keep Britain’s Got Talent and The X Factor on the telly until 2019.
“A new three-year deal will be a huge relief to Cowell because it gives both shows a real sense of stability into the future. It will also end the constant rumours that The X Factor is going to be axed,” a source close to negotiations said.
Now that The X Factor is looking for a new presenter, it will be interesting to see what happens when the show returns later in the year, for sure…
