Last night’s Love Island was so emotional we ran out of tissues in approximately 0.0005 seconds and spent most of the episode blubbing into a pillow. The couples looked super solid as they declared their love for each other, and we had every faith they’d all go on to have long and prosperous relationships in the outside world.
Or, you know, stay together for a couple of weeks at least.
But now Love Island fans are speculating that Chris Hughes and Olivia Attwood have broken up ALREADY, just hours after they were pictured snogging at the airport.
The rumours started after polar bear Chris retweeted a tweet from 2016 Islander Alex Bowen, which read: “Now go and enjoy your life chris…on your ones #loveisland”
Hmmm. "On your ones"…
That’s hardly a glowing endorsement of his relationship with Liv, now is it?!
Of course, fans were quick to wonder whether this meant Liv and Chris were over already...
While others were less than impressed that Alex was being so harsh about Liv...
And, of course, some fans were excited at the prospect of Chris being single.
But are the rumours true? We have our doubts. Even by Liv and Chris’s standards breaking up this soon after the Love Island finale would be ridiculous.
We reckon Chris just doesn’t know what “on your ones” means, tbh.
