In a sensational new social media scandal, Love Island’s Biggs Chris has been accused of faking his relationship with Rebecca Gormley after his ex, Lori Matthews, shared messages suggesting they’d still been together when he went into the villa.
In the short video, Lori, who still has a YouTube channel with Biggs, wrote, “Think you can hurt my feelings? My ex convinced me to support him going on Love Island… then left me after to get with another Islander”.
She then shares screenshots of a number of messages to suggest things were very much not over between them – including one from the 31st of March from Biggs which read, “The Rebecca thing will never proceed”.
There was already speculation about Rebecca and Biggs' relationship in February and she even spoke out about their romance.
After Lori uploaded the video to TikTok, Biggs took to his own Instagram to defend himself, accusing her of trying to tear him down when I was at his “happiest” and insisting he wanted “no negativity”.

If you cast your mind back to Love Island 2015 you'll remember when Jon Clark famously proposed to Hannah Elizabeth. It didn't last (bless them) and he went on to star on TOWIE. Fast forward a couple of years and he dated Chloe Crowhurst but after the Love Island 2017 line-up was announced he publicly slammed her and revealed they were dating. After she left the villa they briefly reunited before calling it quits.

Wait - has Rebecca Gormley 'recoupled' with ANOTHER Love Islander?
He went on to bizarrely apologise to Rebecca, saying, “I just want to say I’m sorry. I apologise to you for any mistake I’ve made. I don’t want to talk too much and just keep it moving, keep it good vibes.”
Rebecca seemingly accepted his apology, and no more was said about the ex-girlfriend he allegedly cheated on.
Hmm.
Meanwhile, Rebecca has recently come under fire a number of times for culturally appropriating, first for posing for an “offensive” Native American style photoshoot and then for styling her hair in braids.
Rebecca has since responded to the criticism over her braids and revealed she received lots of "awful messages".
"I’ve had messages saying ‘that I’m being disrespectful towards people’s culture’ because of my hair. But like I wear braids all the time, just because I’ve got a few more braids doesn’t mean that I’m being disrespectful, I don’t wanna upset anyone or hurt anyone.
"I’m just being myself, doing me, I’m literally just doing me. I had to get someone else to do my braids because I can’t do it as good as this, have you seen it? It’s unreal," she said on her Instagram Story.
