Since Love Island crashed off our screens on Monday, the nation has been in a deep state of mourning. And while we obviously miss everyone in the villa, we’d be lying if we didn’t admit that, above all else, we have a pretty massive Kem Cetinay and Chris Hughes shaped hole in our hearts.

The duo really were friendship GOALS

Tipped to have a Stomzy rap collab in the pipelines, a reality TV show on the cards and even dubbed ‘the next Ant and Dec’ by adoring fans, it’s pretty clear that Kem and Chris aren’t going anywhere any time soon.

Although, if recent rumours are true then they might be back on our TV screens a lot sooner than we expected.

Yup, apparently Celebrity Big Brother has offered to pay the Love Island besites a whopping 100K EACH to appear on this summer’s series, despite the fact the two programmes are famously rivals.

A source told The Daily Star: “The boys are meeting producers next week in London after the wrap party on Sunday night.”

“Producers are desperate to snap them up as they’ve both got the online social media influence to get viewers tuning into the new series”.

Interesting…

Apparently CBB are looking to bring Kem and Chris into the famous bungalow a couple of weeks into the series as late arrivals, after it starts officially on the 1st of August.

This news comes just hours after fans slated Celebrity Big Brother’s trailer for it’s preeeeetty striking nods to Love Island, after it featured a swimming pool, inflatables and even a Scottish voice over guy.

We know, we’re baffled too.

But if all these changes mean that our favourite Love Island couple could be back on the telly then we think we can get behind it.

Soz Liv Attwood and Amber Davies, you might not be getting as much quality time with your boyfriend's as you might like!
