According to new reports, Love Island's Laura Anderson made a human barrier between her former co-stars after Darylle Sargeant implied that Samira Mighty was 'fame-hungry'.

The ladies came face to face at a press launch in London, following Darylle's hints that Samira and Frankie Foster were on the dating show for fame rather than finding love.

Darylle made the remarks when speaking on Lorraine, with Ellie Jones and Love Island 2017’s winner Amber Davies.

Amber was discussing this year’s show and said, “This year, I feel like, it is a little bit more…You know, people are’t that invested in each other. And, I think ‘Are they going in there for the right reasons?'"

Darylle chimed in, "I think there’s a few people that probably aren’t as genuine. You know, their incentives might not necessarily be to, like, find someone for real.”

When asked by host Lorraine Kelly who she was referring to, the tattooed beauty replied, “Maybe Frankie and Samira. I’m not sure. I don’t think we had enough time in there to really gauge how, you know, affectionate they were with each other.”

Laura's no stranger to avoiding an awkward run-in with a former co-star. Laura and her ex Paul Knops reportedly had to be separated at an event they attended earlier this month.
