The likes of 2016 Love Island-types Alex Bowen and Kady McDermott had already warned us the show's infamous lie detector test was 'a load of crap;' and now Gabrielle Allen's pretty much confirmed it following that controversial confession back in July.
After coupling up with Blazin' Squad's Marcel Somerville, that pesky lie detector test called bullshit on how much Gabby actually liked him. Hearts were broken, tears were shed and many questioned whether the concept of this 'love' business even exists at all.
But now - thank GAHD - Gabby's claimed it's a bit rubbish and not really representative of her feelings at all.

Talking to us about her lowest Love Island moment backstage at Fusion Festival last weekend, Gabby said: "It'd obviously have to be that terrible moment when I was sat in that chair; the lie detector. But that's all. It's so not true."
And the nation breathes a simultaneous sigh of relief.
