Since leaving the villa, most of this year’s Love Island couples can be found making club appearances, selling tooth whitening products and packing on the PDA in pap shots, but runners up, Camilla Thurlow and Jamie Jewitt had a very different idea of how they wanted to spend their time.
Yup, in the most Jamilla move ever, Cam and Jamie have been volunteering at a refugee camp in Greece, as part of a new documentary they’re filming (which we can’t wait for, btw).
And it seems like all that quality time has made the pair preeetty close. In an emotional interview, Jamie admitted that the people’s princess had helped him through some difficult times, and encouraged him to turn his life around.
He told The Sun’s Bizarre column: “I lived a flash life being a model but coming from that I was very depressed. I wasn’t at all happy.
"I know being with Camilla and working on projects like this make me smile and that’s what I’m doing at the moment. We haven’t left each other’s side since we left the villa. We’ve only had three days apart since the end of the show."
While Jamilla are still yet to make their romance official, Jamie has also made it clear that he has every intention of doing so.
He added: “I definitely want Camilla to be my girlfriend by the end of the year. I am 100 per cent committed to her.”
YOU GUYS! We forgot just how adorbz these two were, did you?!
