Yes, he was in Love Island. He was.

If there’s one thing we love in the world it’s when everyone gets along.

LOL – just kidding, we love a no-holds-barred public spat. And today’s epic war of words comes from reality TV’s Nathan Henry and Joshua Ritchie.

Geordie Shore’s Nathan sent one of those kind of infuriating, who could he mean?, tweets out into the ether, proclaiming: “I’d rather be extra than basic”.

Are people still saying basic, then? Blimey.

Basic or not, the message got up the nose of Love Island / Ex On The Beach (x 2)’s Josh, who hit back: “I thought you was basic”.

“Of course you did, that’s because your beyond plain,” sparred Nathan, which is actually a bit mean and not true. Joshua is kinda annoying but he’s still hot as hell.

Wait ‘til he does a Stephen Bear and goes on to Celebrity Big Brother and captures the nation’s heart, that’s all we’re saying.

And then we’ll have to eat our words if he follows the Bear trajectory further and turns out to be a rotter in the end, but – hey – let’s enjoy the honeymoon period.

And, before we have to row about this, Joshua WAS in Love Island. The 2015 version that no one watched but also featured Jon Clark, now of Towie, and Max Morley, now of, err, Ex On The Beach.

They get around these reality TV boys, don’t they?

But who won in the Nathan vs. Joshua fight Fight FIGHT? For our money, it’s Josh, who ended the row saying: “I actually loled at this much love tho.”

SUDDEN THOUGHT: Maybe Josh could go into Geordie Shore, now that the only men left are Nathan and Marty McKenna following Scotty T’s departure. Sure, he’s not a Geordie but that didn’t prevent Elettra Lamborghini from actual Italy taking part in series 14.

And Holly Hagan’s not technically a Geordie either.
