Last month there was much excitement in the Love Island camp after last year's winner Kem Cetinay was spotting kissing Kendall Rae-Knight, who has already been dumped from this year's show. And then, there was even more excitement after they were reportedly spotted on a SECOND 'date', with Kem taking the rather long trip up to Kendall's hometown of Blackpool, from his native Essex to see her.
However, after all the speculation Kem has now admitted that he's only met Kendall once or twice and they are simply 'friends'. Whilst Kem describes Kendall as "such a lovely girl", according to Metro.co.uk he denied they were dating saying, "We’ve both been so busy but we talk all the time. I haven’t met her enough to know if there’s romance, but she is gorgeous. I’d have to meet her more to see."
Ooo!
He explained that whilst at the moment they are just friends, if he did decide to start a relationship he would let his Love Island ex Amber Davies know. Talking to OK! magazine he explained, "If I was to have a new relationship I’d let Amber know, but I met Kendall for the Love Island podcast and she’s just a friend. Amber and I haven’t been together for eight months. She’s had relationships with other people and I just want her to be happy."
Kem and Amber won last year's Love Island, sharing £50,000; however just four months after the show they split up.
