Love Island 2016 star Rachel Fenton has revealed she's had the Covid vaccination after contracting the virus twice.
The former Islander and NHS nurse has opened up to her followers and explained that she tested positive for the virus back in December, after first catching it in March.
"I’ve been re-infected with COVID-19. I tested positive back in March and also had the antibodies. I knew reinfection did happen but I didn’t think it was that common?
"I think it’s important people know that reinfection is happening, it could be the new strain?," she wrote on Instagram.
Being completely open and transparent, she continued, "I’ve had another positive swab recently. I had very mild symptoms which were not like the symptoms I had before. Has anyone else experienced a second positive Covid-19 swab?"
Now, six weeks after her second battle with Covid-19, Rachel has finally received her vaccine jab.
Taking to the 'gram she posted a photo of herself posed in a cream knitted sweater and sported a surgical face mask, whilst a fellow nurse is seen poking the needle into her arm.
Clearly relieved and super grateful, the 28-year-old shared her gratitude to the doctors and scientists who are doing all they can to help us fight this nasty virus.
"The beginning of the end 🙏🏼 thank you to all the incredible doctors and scientists for creating this vaccine and helping us become one step further to beating this virus💉," she wrote.
Rachel has been very vocal on social media during her battles with Covid, and she has described a variety of her symptoms to fans who asked.
CHECK OUT: Love Island's saddest moments ever 💔
Dani and Jack's HUGE row
Everyone was left in despair after Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham had their first major row. It all kicked off after Jack failed three of the questions on the lie detector test but she Essex girl was mainly annoyed after he failed the question on his head being turned on the outside.Eek!When Dani confronted her other half things didn't go down well and they went on to have a row, with Danny Dyer's daughter storming off and Jack branding her actions "pathetic".Luckily they kissed and made up the next day and all seems to be forgotten about with Jack even winning over Eastenders' Danny Dyer.Telly tally: 6 (It was upsetting but we didn't actually cry)

Whilst suffering with the illness, and it's variety of symptoms, Rachel wrote on social media, "It's scary and uncertain for so many - I'm determined to beat this virus as soon as possible so I can get back to the hospital to help those most in need.
"Sending love to everyone & hope you're all staying safe and well x".
Such a kind-hearted queen, ugh we love her.
This was certainly a promise as Rachel has since returned to work and continues to provide care for those who need it most.
Just four days ago, she uploaded an Insta post and captioned it, "We keep on fighting 🙏🏼 I know so many of you (myself included) are probably struggling with lockdown and life in general right now but I’m wishing you all a positive Wednesday, be kind to yourselves ♥️"
So much love ❤️.
