Love Island 2018 is within touching distance and we’ve, quite frankly, never been so excited for a Monday in the history of time.

The new line-up’s been released and we’re predicting a very long, hot summer with this bunch of sassy singleton’s looking for love (amongst other things).

One of the islanders heading to the villa is a West End star and describes herself as ‘extra AF’. She sounds right up our street, tbh.

Samira has had two serious relationships.

“I’ve had two exes, two serious boyfriends. They’d probably say I am very confident, very loving, and I like doing lots of things together. I don’t mind lazy days but I like being active and keeping the relationship fresh.”

She’s blamed her busy work schedule on not being able to find love.

“I have the whole days free, when everyone is at work, then work in the evenings, so I haven’t really had the chance to meet anyone.”

Has Samira Mighty dated anyone famous? What happened with Chris Pine?

Samira revealed she once dated Hollywood actor Chris Pine but cooled things off to appear on the show this summer.

“I went to the GQ Man of the Year after party, and I thought I recognised this guy. I knew him from the Disney Channel,” Samira told Digital Spy.

They swapped numbers and Chris then asked Samira on a date.

"We went to Soho Hotel, where he stays, and it was super nice," she continued, before revealing that things didn’t go further as she was reeling from a recent break-up.

Samira added Chris still regularly texts her and told her he’d be in London over summer and asked to hangout, but she had to decline as she’s appearing on Love Island – which seemingly didn’t go down too well with the Star Trek actor.

“He was like, ‘ahh, Ok’. I was like, 'cool'. End of friendship end of convo!"

What does Samira look for in a man? What’s her biggest turn off?

The biggest turn off would be if they weren’t funny. Even if they’re beautiful but have no personality and are just dry, I physically can’t have a conversation. I hate awkward silences.”

She added: “Another big turn off is spitting – it makes me feel physically sick.”
