She may not hold the title of Miss Great Britain anymore but Zara Holland has at least one memento after she was allowed to keep her sparkling crown.

The Love Island star was dramatically stripped of the honour of representing her country after she had sex on the ITV2 reality show.

Yes, you read that correctly. She simply had sex.

After getting down and dirty with Alex Bowen after he entered the villa, the organisation behind the annual beauty pageant claimed they could no longer ‘promote Zara as a positive role model.’

But now it seems they’ve reached out an olive branch after allowing her to keep the crown she was presented with.

"I still have my crown – I don’t have to give it back. I was thinking I should auction it off!" she told Fubar radio.

Love Islandfans were so upset when Zara lost her title that they launched a petition to get it reinstated.

More than 20,000 people have signed the Change.org campaign titled "Give Zara Holland her Miss GB title back".

Those supporting the petition include TV personality Anthea Turner and reality TV star Jasmine Lennard, who said in a tweet sharing the link: "This should probably be signed..."

Hearing of the petition, Zara previously told heat: "I’m getting support every day from the public, and there’s a lot of people that say 'you’re more of a real role model now more than ever, you’re very relatable too'".
