Most of us have been a slave to the clothes sizing numbers at some point. Whether it's putting on a pair of size 12s when you're usually a 14 and feeling a little TOO happy, or crying in the changing room because you're a 16 when in another shop you can squeeze into a 14, clothes sizes are annoying.
But no more. Lingerie brand Neon Moon is getting rid of current sizing as we know it, and replacing the often body-shaming numbers with positive descriptions instead.
So instead of a 10, 12, 14, 16, there is 'lovely', 'gorgeous', 'beautiful', 'fabulous' and 'stunning'.
Putting on a few pounds and going from beautiful to fabulous now doesn't seem like such a bad thing, right? Which is how it should be.
Hayat Rachi, the founder of Neon Moon, told Bustle: "Most of the time people are reduced down to a mere number on a measuring tape, and at Neon Moon we recognise that so much pressure is placed on people to fit a certain size, a certain norm,"
"But why not compliment yourself and say, ‘Hell yeah I’m a size beautiful!’ rather than judge yourself on whether you’ve gained or lost inches — it’s about having fun in a body positive way."
What a lovely message. And one that puts a little bit of kindness into clothes shopping - something we could all do with.
