If you’re famous it’s probably not the best idea to go sexting strangers because it will only end up getting you in trouble.
So Louis Smith may now be regretting his decision to send a revealing picture of himself to a woman he met online after she spoke out to warn new girlfriend Lucy Mecklenburgh about his lewd antics.
The Olympic gymnast allegedly sent a picture of, err, Little Louis to a woman just weeks before he started dating former The Only Way Is Essex star Lucy.
The woman told The Sun: “He may have changed but Lucy needs to know what he was like. I think she needs to watch out.”
Former Strictly Come Dancing champion Louis apparently started talking to the unnamed woman through dating app Tinder in July and later stared messaging her on Snapchat.
She said: “We spoke a lot on there. I was in his ‘Top three’, which means you are one of the people he speaks to the most.
“He was forward and presumptuous, taking pictures and saying things.
“I found it bizarre and I think he was expecting something back from me. But there was no way I was sending pictures of myself.”
She said they then started speaking on video call service Facetime and it was then the woman claims Louis showed a little more of himself than she was expecting.
She said: “It made me feel a bit sick. He didn’t know me, or how old I was or if I had a boyfriend. He hadn’t asked anything about me. We didn’t even talk, and the conversation was over really quickly.”
It is not known if Lucy knew about the messages or pictures before now but a spokesperson for the sportsman insists he's done nothing wrong.
They told the newspaper: “He was a single guy having a private relationship as a single person.”
