After the singer’s VERY public drop at the BRITS on Wednesday night, Madonna has now admitted that she couldn’t stop her children from trying drugs and drinking alcohol.

Speaking on The Jonathan Ross show Madge admitted that she personally doesn't like to take drugs after trying them herself MANY years ago, but that she couldn't tell her children not to try them.

She told the show host Jonathan: “I am not a big fan of drugs. They just don't suit me. “The handful of times I have tried drugs, many many many many years ago, I just didn't enjoy it.

“I wanted it out of me. I started guzzling bottles of water thinking that was going to end it.”

“I just ask my daughter [Lourdes] to make wise decisions and to do things in moderation and to try not to mix her alcohol.

“I am not going to say ‘no, don't do it’ because that is just absurd. And it is not fair. Yeah, I did it.”

Now speaking on her infamous cape incident the 56-year-old admitted that it was a 'horror show' after the performance.

After her ‘wardrobe malfunction’ where her cape caused her to fall backwards down some steps, the WWW (World Wide Web) went into a huge frenzy with horror and some - a lot - of mocking images appeared.

And although she got back up straight away Madge told Jonathan it wasn’t a set up, despite rumours claiming it was.

She shook her head and continued to tell the show’s host: “I'm never writing lyrics like that again!

"The universe was trying to teach me a lesson I guess.”

You can watch Madge on The Jonathan Ross Show on ITV on Saturday March 14.
