If there’s one man we can rely on to stop 2016 from being the WORST YEAR EVER SINCE TIME BEGAN, it’s Mr James Corden.

And it looks like he’s gone and done it.

THE QUEEN OF POP HERSELF, Madonna, just revealed that her and James are gearing up to Express themselves (sorry) in the newest round of Carpool Karaoke.

There are few better things in life than driving round with your besties and singing along to some absolute CHOOOOONS.

But not many of us can say we’ve done that with Billboard’s highest-ranking solo artist, can we?

If you’re SOMEHOW unfamiliar with Carpool Karaoke (perhaps there’s no WiFi on that rock you’re living under?), it’s a hilarious segment on The Late Late Show where James picks up celebs in his car and drives them around while they sing together. It’s just as good as it sounds.

And it’s becoming ICONIC.

1D, Britney, and Adele have all been on there, along with Madonna’s sort-of-frenemy Lady Gaga, belting up, and belting out some of their favourite hits.

Although James often pays more attention to getting Into The Groove (it’s too easy), than he does focusing on the road, Madonna Lived To Tell (OK I’ll stop now) her fans that she will be the next to ride shotgun, in a post to her Instagram.

With the caption “Riding Round Manhattan with this Hunk of burning Love”, Madonna and James cosied up with a pair of pouts to rival the whole of cast of TOWIE combined.

While James has been busy handing out the festive feels in this year’s Sainsbury’s Christmas ad, he took a moment to tweet he was having “Just a typical Wednesday with @Madonna”. NO BIGGIE.

Madonna has been having an eventful 2016 herself as she’s set to be named Billboard’s Woman of the Year on December 9.

And with her Rebel Heart Tour movie due to debut next month, after 82 shows in 55 cities, it was about time the Queen of Pop had some time with her feet up in the passenger seat.

Although we’re yet to hear when the episode with Madonna will be aired, we’re sitting tight.

And we foolishly thought our favourite Late Late Show segment had peaked when James and Michelle Actual Obama pulled out the Single Ladies choreography.

How wrong we were.
