Magic Mike star Channing Tatum has stopped working out and now has ‘one enormous soft ab’

Channing Tatum has said he’s given up maintaining his mega-abs since finishing filming for new movie, Magic Mike XXL.

Channing has insisted he hasn't worked out since filming wrapped on the stripper movie and his love of indulging when it comes to food has left him with a less-than sculpted body.

But we still would. In a heartbeat…

He said: "I have one enormous ab right now and it’s not even hard. I love food and I love indulging. My wife craves healthy food. I’m the complete opposite.

"I grew up down South, eating Cheetos and Ho Hos. Do you get Ho Hos in England? Little cake things. Processed, sugary, salted food. That’s what I grew up on. And I was a skinny kid.

"Then you hit a certain age, you start drinking beer and now it’s really easy to put it on. And you can’t fake it in Magic Mike.

“Usually on screen, if you’re butt-naked, [all you’re doing is] walking from the bed to the shower, so you can hold it all in."

The 35 year old has insisted he knows he will eventually have to get back in the gym as he thinks he's "not a good enough actor" to avoid getting his clothes off in films.

He added to* Time Out* magazine: "I haven’t worked out one time since Magic Mike. I know I’m going to have to do it again eventually.

"I’m not a good enough actor not to take my shirt off in a movie. So I’m just going to wait until that freight train comes."

That makes us feel sad.
