Magician Paul Daniels diagnosed with incurable brain tumour

Sad news today as Paul Daniels has been diagnosed with an uncurable brain tumour.

The diagnosis with revealed to the public through a statement on Paul's website which read: "We can confirm that one of our greatest magicians and entertainers of all times, Paul Daniels, has sadly been diagnosed with an incurable brain tumour.

"On behalf of Paul, Debbie and their families, we thank you for your kind concerns and support at this sad time and ask that their privacy continues to be respected. There will be no further comments at this time."

Paul’s career has spanned nearly four decades after he first found fame with his 1980s TV series The Paul Daniels Magic Show and married his on-stage assistant Debbie McGee in 1988.

Paul was in the middle of his Intimate Magic Show UK tour with his next performance due to be in March however his manager has confirmed all future dates are cancelled.
