Poor Maisie Williams is the latest celebrity to fall victim to hackers, with her social media accounts apparently compromised.
Over the weekend, sites like Reddit were madly sharing the photos which are thought to have been stolen from a private social media account. Some think the photos might have come from a Facebook page, and were taken when she went to Japan recently.
The pictures in question show Maisie on a rock, with two other female friends. Other images shows them taking their clothes off in stages.
We hope all of this doesn't overshadow the actual reason Maisie was in Japan - because she's been raising awareness over marine shows, and animals being forced to perform for entertainment. She's been trying to encourage fans to sign her petition, as it's a great cause, and one the 19-year-old feels strongly about.
This latest hacking scandal is yet another reminder that privacy is a real problem, and one that needs to be addressed. It comes after the hacking scandal of 2015 when stars such as Jennifer Lawrence had their photos leaked after they were stolen from their personal iClouds.
"I was just so afraid. I didn’t know how this would affect my career," Jennifer Lawrence said to Vanity Fair at the time. "Just because I’m a public figure, just because I’m an actress, does not mean that I asked for this. It does not mean that it comes with the territory.
