Malin Andersson had a BOYFRIEND when she went on Love Island

And Rykard Jenkins. Blimey.

Love Island Malin

What a difference 24 hours makes. This time yesterday, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were still together(so far as we knew), this time tomorrow it will be autumn, but some news has hit today that is even more brain shaking than both of these things.

Malin Andersson has confessed that she was NOT single when she went on Love Island.

Why, Malin? Whhhyyy?

Malin has revealed that she had a boyfriend when she got the call to go on the show and just sort of forgot to tell him that he was now the sole occupant of Dumpsville.

"I was like "Do I tell him? I won’t tell him…'

"I was like 'He was in Dubai he won’t see it anyway.' I’m a dickhead."

Malin was originally paired up with Rykard Jenkins on the show but pied him off when Terry Walsh walked into the villa.

She then had to watch sadly from home when Terry got together with Emma-Jane Woodhams, Tom Powell's ex, after Ma was unexpectedly evicted. Look, it was a complicated summer but totally worth it.

At the time, we totally felt for Malin. But now… Well, it still must have hurt her. But there's surely a little karma involved there. Especially as Malin's admitted that she's now desperate to get back with her ex.

"He finally agreed to see me… I told him 'I love you' and he said that 'I’ve got some grafting to do.'

"We went for dinner and he was like 'I can’t believe what you did. And then you go date some random twat,'" Malin told Celebs Now.

We presume he means Jeavon Stretton, who Charlotte Crosby briefly saw on Celebs Go Dating before he treated her to the lamest picnic ever and called her a "slag" (in Char's words), so she moved on to that really handsome fish factory worker (ex) from Grimsby.

Guess Malin and Jeavonhave crashed and burned then. And we thought that was a sure-fire love thing (we didn't).
