Another year and another bunch of egotistical entrepreneurs trying to impress Lord Sugar on the new series of The Apprentice, with their goal of winning the £250,000 investment from the businessman.

But as the new series kicked off last night (Wednesday 3rd October), fans couldn't help but notice that one of this year's contestants looks VERY familiar.

Within just minutes of the first episode, fans of the show were quick to point out that professional speaker Kayode Damali looks strikingly similar to Love Island 2017 star Marcel Somerville.

Viewers took to Twitter to express their thoughts, one user wrote, 'What is Marcel doing on The Apprentice?', with another adding, 'Why is Marcel from #LoveIsland on the #apprentice 😂'. [sic]

The comments didn't end there, another fan of the show wrote, 'This guy on The Apprentice looks like Marcel from Love Island'.

Meanwhile, as Kaydoe led the boys team as PM in the task which saw them locate items around Malta, things didn't quite go to plan.

Although he led the boys to victory, it was more a case of them being the better losers, after a shocking display from the girls... which saw them buying the same item TWICE! 🙈

After what felt like a slanging match in the boardroom, PM Jasmine Kundra brought back Jackie Fast and Sarah Byrne into the final three. Clearly disappointed at the girls' performance, Lord Sugar decided to fire Sarah from the process, leaving both Jackie and Jasmine with a stern warning for the remainder of the series.
