Earlier we broke the news that Georgia May Foote and her Strictly Italian stallion Giovanni Penice are moving in together after one month of dating. And now Mariah Carey’s got herself engaged to James Packer after just six months together.
That’s quick even for showbiz folk.
Mariah is yet to announce the news publicly but her rep confirmed the news to Mirror Celebs last night.
According to reports, the Australian billionaire popped the question in New York after getting some of Mariah’s closest friends and family together.
Mariah and James first met at a movie premiere in Aspen in 2014, where they became friends, but the pair only got romantic in June 2015.
An insider told E! News: "It's crazy how perfect they are together, they both know it and couldn't be happier.”
So what about the rock then?
Well, reports claim that James, 48, proposed to 45-year-old Mariah with a diamond ring of around 35 carats.
