Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon fight over custody of their 8 dogs…

The couple split in August after six years of marriage and it all seemed to be rather amicable until the issue of the dogs and who’ll get custody started off a row.

Mariah, 45, and Nick, 34, had a pre-nup, which saved them fighting over their estimated £325 million fortune, but it didn’t include the dogs.

So now, Jackie Lambchops, JJ, Speak E Beans, The Good Reverend Pow Jackson, Mutley P Gore Jackson The Third, Jill E Beans, Pipitty Jackson and Cha are stuck in the middle of the on-going spat about who’s getting them full time.

Last week, TV host Nick admitted: “I’m just taking everything one day at a time and just being the best person that I can possibly be at the end of the day.”

We’re guessing he wanted to scream ‘I WANT THE DOGS’ but managed to contain himself in front of the cameras…

They aren’t the first celebrity couple to row over their pooches.

In 2007, Britney Spears and Kevin Federline fought over custody of their pets, with PETA asking Kevin to file for custody, which he did and he won.

While in 2012, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson couldn’t make up their minds over who would be taking charge of their dog, Bear.

Bear did originally belong to Rob, who adopted him from a shelter, but Kristen allegedly claimed she took on a lot of his care.

It all got very messy but in the end, Rob did manage to hold ont0 Bear.

Note to celebs: Include pets in your pre-nups and save yourself the hassle.
