So Christmas is fast approaching and we're all trying to cut back, shed a few pounds so we can literally eat ALL the things over the holiday season.
It's going really well so far, we've cut down our weekly pizza intake by half (OK a third) and replaced dessert with a bottle of Skinny Prosecco.
It's at times like this we often turn to the celebs for diet inspiration. Who could forget Beyonce's all-liquid diet of 2006? The singer basically just drank cayenne lemon water in order to prepare for her role in Dreamgirls.
And now Mariah Carey is taking drastic measures to shed a few pounds but we really don't think we can get on board with this one.
Mariah is only allowed to eat TWO things.
Seriously, even Beyonce managed to allow herself some down time with pizza and wine during her cleanse.
Mariah is apparently really struggling with her weird new diet, which only allows the singer to eat fish and capers.
"It's really hard. My diet, you would hate it. All you eat is Norwegian salmon and capers every day. That's it," she told E! News.
Mariah is apparently trying to cut out bad foods and stick to proteins, adding: "I'm actually serious. I try to stick with the proteins. It's the worst."
Hmm. You do you hun, but we're perfectly happy with our occasional (very regular) carb binge.
It's practically Christmas after all.
