Dolly Parton has Dollywood, a theme park dedicated to everything Dolly. Nashville has The Taylor Swift Education Centre, where you can learn literally all there is to know about Tay.

And now, heat can reveal that Mariah Carey wants to establish a museum in tribute to her own glittering 25-year career.

Insiders close to the singer tell heat that she thinks the world deserves a shrine to her many achievements. We’re told it will include displays of “her concert outfits, platinum record collection, a recreation of her childhood home, award-show footage and vintage recordings playing on loop, baby photos, treasures from her home (including specially commissioned portraits), displays of her jewellery collection and home movies of her children”. Crikey.

The friend adds, “She has warehouses full of Mariah memorabilia, and I think she’d really throw herself into the project.”

And who’s funding the entire museum? Er, that’d be Mariah’s billionaire boyfriend James Packer. You know, the fourth-richest man in Australia. “He can’t say no to his girlfriend, even though he thinks the idea is way out there, even for Mariah,” says the insider. “She thinks the whole thing would cost around $20million to build a travelling museum, with the first stops being Las Vegas and her home town, New York.”
