This week has been mad. Properly, properly mad. First we had the break-up of the CENTURY in the form of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie going their separate ways, then Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes revealed they got secretly married earlier this year.
And NOW Oscar-winning actress Marion Cotillard has revealed that she's pregnant, just days after speculation that she and Brad were hooking up on the set of their latest film, Allied.
Marion, in her typically Gallic way, has put a firm stop to the rumours it may have been Brad's baby in a kick-ass Instagram post.
"This is going to be my first and only reaction to the whirlwind news that broke 24 hours ago and that I was swept up into," she wrote.
"I am not used to commenting on things like this nor taking them seriously but as this situation is spiralling and affecting people I love, I have to speak up.
"Firstly, many years ago, I met the man of my life, father of our son and of the baby we are expecting. He is my love, my best friend, the only one that I need.
Secondly to those who have indicated that I am devastated, I am very well thank you. This crafted conversation isn't distressing."
She went on: "And to all the media and the haters who are quick to pass judgment, I sincerely wish you a swift recovery.
"Finally, I do very much wish that Angelina and Brad, both whom I deeply respect, will find peace in this very tumultuous moment.
"With all my love, Marion."
How awesome is that?
The love of her life in question is French actor Guillaume Canet, with whom she has five-year-old son Marcel. They've been together since 2007 and we're SUPER-happy they'll be producing another beautiful French child together.
