It’s pretty fair to say Marnie Simpson has been unlucky in love, as have her Geordie Shore co-stars (cough Holly and Kyle, Charlotte and Gary). So we’re not surprised to see her making thinly veiled digs at her exes now she looks to be loved-up with a new man; there's quite a lot to have a dig at!

After meeting ex Union J singer Casey Johnson on new MTV dating show Single AF, Marnie can’t stop gushing over him. She told Mail Online: “I think it was just the perfect time because I've just got out of a relationship and I just wanted to get back out there so it was perfect.”

Then, unable to resist adding some shade, added: “I just think we just got on so well and made each other laugh and he's a lot different to guys I've gone out with in the past. There's no games and I just feel secure.”

Burrrrrn. Having been engaged to TOWIE star Ricky Rayment after four months of dating, she’s not one for taking it slow. “I have been told in the past to slow down but I'm not going to let that determine how I am. With Casey, I do love him and I do think he's the right person for me. I wouldn't let my past relationships affect this one.”

Talking about Aaron Chalmers, Marnie also told Mail Online: “Me and Aaron are just friends. He's in a relationship and I think we're finally just happy for each other. Everything's really good.

“Casey's quite supportive. He's supportive of everything I do. He's a happy go lucky lad. He's not an argumentative person, he's not a jealous person so it was fine.”

She also spoke about Charlotte Crosby’s recently ended relationship with Just Tattoo Of Us co-host Stephen Bear, and revealed she believed her friend should fight for him: “I think it's just a hard time for them both,” she explained. “It's very hard being in the public eye and they're both very popular and there's lots of pressure.

“I told Charlotte if you love each other that much then its worth fighting for. If it were for me, I would fight for it.”
