Marnie Simpson responds to the Lewis Bloor and Aaron Chalmers beef

Hands up if you’ve been following the whole Lewis Bloor/ Marnie Simpson/ Aaron Chalmers drama and you’re confused AF about what the actual hell is going on?

Yeah, us too.

It all started a few days ago when some saucy story about Lewis cheating on his girlfriend, Marnie, on Valentine’s Day.

Real nice.

The former TOWIE star has since posted a statement on Twitter apologising to Marnie and her family, and saying that he was going to take a break from social media.

What that means in celeb talk is they’re going to get off Twitter for approximately 52.5 seconds until someone provokes them into a Twitter beef.

And this is where things start getting a bit bizarre.

So everyone who watches Geordie Shore will know that Marnie and Aaron have had their fair share of Charlotte-and-Gary-syndrome. Will they? Won’t they? What the hell are they?

So when news broke that Marnie and Lewis were finito, of course Aaron got involved, the whole thing exploded on social media and ended with Lewis proposing the two boys fight it out in a charity boxing match (erm, WOT) for a cool £20k.

Yeah, sure. Modern day Shakespeare playing out among reality TV stars, eh?

Anyway, Marnie has stayed out of the whole thing up until now. She took to her own Twitter to voice our own thoughts – WTF.

She wrote: “This is a fucking joke. Where has the sum 20k come from. Can everyone please stop fighting just drop it for gods sake.”

She has a point. Twitter spats solve nothing IRL, guys.
