Ah, The X Factor!
It might feel like approximately 3204923 years since we saw Matt Terry take the winning title but it was in fact less than two months ago.
Yes, really.
Since then, a lot has happened. Selena Gomez and The Weeknd have started up a little lurve thang, Lee Ryan got a job on EastEnders (lololol) and Calum Best became the man of our dreams with his humungous bulge and slightly bizzare English-American accent on Celebrity Big Brother.
Oh, and on top of ALL of that, the most talked about X Factor contestant, Honey G, got signed to Simon Cowell’s record labe, Syco ,and released a song that kind of – erm – flopped (sorry Honey, WE LUV U).
So when Matt revealed that he hadn’t spoken to Simon C since the X Factor final in December, we can’t say we were TOO surprised.
Why? Well remember all those years – sorry, weeks – ago when Matt won, it was revealed that he wouldn’t be signed to Syco like every other X Factor winner in the history of time. Instead, Matt was signed to RCA Records, and Honey won the coveted Syco deal.
Ouchie.
Talking to Reveal, Matt said: “We haven’t spoken at all.
“He always said if I ever needed him, I could speak to him.
“He’s a lovely guy. He gave me this amazing opportunity to so I’ll always be grateful to him.”
Matt probs doesn’t care TOO much though, because he’s about to go on tour with his X Factor pal, Saara Aalto in Helsinki.
She told This Morning Britain: "It’s going to be great.
“13,000 people are coming and I really wanted to bring a part of X Factor with me to Finland, so Matt is coming to Finland to sing with me on my arena concert, which is really great."
Cute.
