Ever since Louis Tomlinson's 100%-real-life-biological-from-the-same-womb (not actually related to him in any way at all) twin Matt Terry auditioned for The X Factor, we've kinda had the hots for him.
He's a massive fitlord, let's be real.
And we majorly felt for him when he revealed in his audition that he'd suffered heartbreak after his girlfriend dumped him just before he went on the show.
He told Simon Cowell: "I was a waiter but I unfortunately had to leave my job because I’ve recently come out of a relationship with my girlfriend."
Simon then (very tactfully) asked if he’d been dumped, and Matt replied: "Yeah… music is my passion and it would be a dream come true to make it through. It’s why I’m here."
HE EVEN NEARLY MADE CALVIN HARRIS CRY WHEN HE SANG SHE'S OUT OF MY LIFE AT JUDGES' HOUSES.
Presumably he was thinking about Taylor Swift.
So imagine our alarm when we heard that Matt might have been telling porkies about the whole thing.
Speaking on Lorraine, The Sun's Dan Wootton said: "You know how he keeps going on about his sob story of the girlfriend, well, I can reveal it’s all a bit of a porkie pie. He’s back living with the girl Jasmin Avis.
"So it’s served him very well. But all I would say is Matt, you know what, you have enough talent to get through without that!"
But Matt has HIT BACK against the claims, telling Metro online: "My ex and I split amicably and are still friends but we’re not in a relationship."
It would be a pretty bloody risky lie if you ask us.
